Small update!

Heya, just writing this small update to let you all know that I moved back to the UK last weekend and I'm finally settled in my new apartment, however as a result I had to delay this week's comic strip (so that's why I still haven't posted last week's strip here either).
That's pretty much about it, lol.
Now that I'm on my own again expect more art stuff coming real soon.

Hey everyone (:
I just wanted to write a quick journal to thank you for getting me to 2000+ watchers. I've been super inconsistent with posting art up until recently-ish, and as a result of my garbage behavior I've been stuck in the 1500's limbo for the longest time; seeing numbers actually grow for once is very nice, especially because I'm trying to do something about my inconsistency and trying to work on more stuff. Doing the weekly comic thing is probably one of the best decisions I've ever taken in my life, lol.
And I know you can say something like "hey it's almost like not being dead for months helps, dude!" and again, you'd be totally right criticizing me for that.
I could go on and on and try to justify myself by saying that I haven't been too great lately and as a result of my general unhappiness my art has been suffering, but I don't want to find excuses anymore; I want to do something about it instead and get my shit together.
So, I guess that's pretty much it.
Thank you so, so much for your support. Thank you for the faves, all the kind comments and everything else; it means more than you might think and I am very grateful you guys are sticking around.
Also, since I like ending things on a positive note, here's a sneak peek of something I'm doing right now.

SMALL NAME CHANGE!

Hey you, just a quick thing.
I've kinda wanted to do this for a while, today finally decided to do it.
I changed my username from Davespineapple to DaveRabbit, the reason for that is because first of all I like it a lot more, and second I am slowly changing every other username to that as I feel it represents me more (for example my Patreon has the same username, as well as a few other places).
Truth is, I always kinda hated Davespineapple; when I made it I didn't really have a reason for it, 'pineapple' was literally just some random whatever I thought on the spot, nothing more, so I grew out of it pretty quickly.
Good thing is, those of you who know me will very likely see this as a no brainer, so hopefully this doesn't confuse too many people (but I mean, it's not really that different anyway so it probably shouldnt, right..?)
Anyway, that is all, thank you for reading.

Quick question: tutorials

Quick question (I did ask this on twitter too but figured you guys would be a better audience to ask this too lol), I want to start posting painting tutorials on Patreon too to help push it a bit more, so, what would you guys think it'd be cool to see? I'm open to pretty much any kind of suggestion, from general painting to coloring and rendering etc.

Welp, it's been a while since I last wrote one of these, hasn't it.
This is gonna be a pretty short journal too lol, I really only have a couple of things to tell you cool people anyway.
In case you're wondering things like "Hey do you still paint shit or are you just gonna post those short cartoony comic strips once a week and call it a day?" don't worry, this is exactly the purpose of this journal right here, so...wohoo!
Yes I still paint stuff. I posted that shark painty-doodle the other day, I bet you literally couldn't believe your eyes.
Long story short, university is still sucking life out of my body like it's a capri-sun, which means still zero time for personal art and serious commissions; but here's the cool thing -! Next Wednesday I have my last deadline for my current term, which means I'll be pretty much done with, well, everything, so I can already start doing fun stuff and commissions again.
So there you go. Starting mid-next week I'll be back painting stuff, stream a BUNCH of it because I also want to really get back into that (shameless plugin to my twitch ) and more importantly, opening commissions again very very soon.
I already have quite a few people on my commissions waiting list, however I do want to push it as much as I can so I'll take literally as many as humanly possible. I can't wait.
Other than that, stuff is pretty alright on my side, nothing super exciting to be honest but also pretty chill and nice at the same time, so there's that.
Also, how have you been? It's been too long since I've actually talked to you cool people and I kinda miss that, not gonna lie.
Anyway, that's all from me for now.
